Join a YWCA Committee

Thank you for your interest in joining the YWCA Metropolitan Board and Committees as a volunteer! We have five different committees that you can add your voice, talent, and expertise to.

Individuals who would like to be considered for the Board of Directors should first complete the Committee Interest Form (found towards the bottom of this page).  YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix recommends that individuals volunteer to serve on a committee prior to being advanced as a Board Candidate (all Board members serve on at least one committee).

Advocacy Committee

Purpose: to support the mission of the YWCA to eliminate racism and empower women by identifying issues, gathering information, developing policies and facilitating action in order to bring about social change.

Audit Committee
