The YWCA has multiple opportunities to volunteer. Help us propel the mission of the YWCA through your service. Listed below are the volunteer opportunities.

Intern Opportunities


The Development Intern will work closely with the Development Director to help create and produce all YWCA special events and  fundraising campaigns.  The intern will gain substantial hands-on experience and specific training in all aspects of nonprofit event planning while gaining a good understanding of the mission, vision and programs of the YWCA. The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, development, and public relations plans. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining and expanding marketing channels/ methodologies to the community, Women’s Organizations, senior industry and the public at large. Senior Center

Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups to help our drivers deliver Meals on Wheels Monday-Thursday and on special days and holidays – America Let’s Do Lunch!

General and administrative volunteer opportunities are also available for groups and individuals.

Young Women’s Forum

Serve as a Committee member. The committee helps to organize 3 events per year.

Assist with preparation of Women’s Empowerment Luncheons pre-event & on the day of the event.

Facilitators and presenters are needed for Financial Education Programs. (Must have skills in the presented curriculum & subject).
