We are honored to host several special events throughout the year. Additionally, we’re proud to join community partners to raise awareness and bring consciousness to issues surrounding racial justice and gender equality.
Exciting news! For the 13th year running, the Meals on Wheels network is participating in the 2020 Subaru Share the Love Event. Over the past twelve years, Subaru and its retailers have helped Meals on Wheels to deliver more than 2.3 million meals nationwide to seniors in need.
Why does Subaru support Meals on Wheels? Too many seniors are struggling to stay independent and healthy. One in four seniors lives alone in isolation and one in seven seniors might not know from where their next meal is coming. This is simply unacceptable, which is why Organization Name provides the nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks to the seniors of area. This vital support keeps seniors in their own homes, where they want to be.
We’re incredibly grateful to Subaru and its Retailers for supporting our organization and the seniors we serve. With that in mind, we thought you might want to learn a little bit more about the Subaru Share the Love Event.

In 2021 we are very excited to celebrate Legacy Leadership, taking a look back over the past 26 years of Tribute to Leadership honorees.
YWCA’s Tribute to Leadership Luncheon and Awards event has been an annual celebration to recognize the accomplishments of leaders in our community who strive to improve the lives of women, girls, and people of color through leadership, advocacy, and community service.
We have re-imagined this year’s event as a virtual month-long celebration to reflect on 26 years of phenomenal Legacy honorees. This celebration will culminate with a virtual luncheon on March 31st, to come together to celebrate their continued legacy of leadership and commitment to racial and gender justice, and to raise funds that are critical for us to stay resilient and stay strong for those we serve.
Get connected with our mission and advance your racial justice journey by joining us for a virtual information session! Rising Leaders in Motion is our NEW group for emerging community leaders. The info session will highlight the group’s volunteer, networking, and personal development opportunities.
The more the merrier…feel free to bring your friends! We invite you to extend the invitation to any friends or co-workers who are interested in furthering their social justice journey and make an impact their community.
